Free Wellness Program Resources
Do you provide hardcopies of the handouts, posters, calendars, etc.?
No, we do not provide hardcopies of the free wellness program resources found on the website. Instead we make the resources freely available to you so that you can download them and use within your wellness program.
Where do you get all the free wellness program resources?
Many places, but the vast majority come from government and university resources. The source is generally noted on our website and/or the resource itself. We also link to resources in lieu of hosting the resources on our website. This ensures that the item you download will be current.
Why are the wellness program resources free?
Wellness programs do not have to be expensive. Often wellness programs seem expensive because people waste money buying materials to distribute within their organization. We prefer that organizations spend their wellness budgets on things that will actually change behavior and improve health. Sending out hardcopy (aka “dead tree”) versions of brochures, wellness calendars, etc. is expensive and will not generally result in a positive return-on-investment. Note: A well-known “non-profit” wellness coalition and other wellness companies make a lot of money selling handouts, posters, calendars, etc. I’m amazed that people still buy “dead tree” versions of those items. They are expensive to purchase and send out and few people actually read the materials. That said, why not download free materials found here and send them out via email. Your cost is virtually nothing and now you can use the money you saved on wellness programs that will improve the health and well-being of your members.
