Wellness Program Implementation
Worksite wellness program implementation involves putting the plan into action. It may necessitate making arrangements with wellness vendors, recruiting health and wellness speakers, negotiating with health plans or health clubs, scheduling wellness activities and more.
To some extent, wellness program implementation, wellness marketing, acquiring resources and evaluation can all occur simultaneously. A good rule of thumb is to begin the program slowly and to lead off with those activities most likely to succeed.
Your wellness committee and management of all levels will need to be part of the process when you implement the wellness program. Being part of the process means more than just attending the meetings.
Employees need to see management walking, eating better, participating in health screenings, etc. The more employees see management participating the more likely they are to participate.
